Self Assessment set-aside
Type your expected self-employed profit for the 2026 to 2027 tax year, and any other income such as a job. It estimates the Income Tax and Class 4 National Insurance on the profit, and what that is each month.
Estimate · figures checked 23 Oct 2026 · guidance, not advice · sources
- Other income is taken as pay or pension that already uses your Personal Allowance first.
- It leaves out student loans, savings interest, dividends and any tax already paid. Class 2 National Insurance is treated as paid when profits are £7,105 or more.
