Self Assessment set-aside
Type your expected self-employed profit for the 2026 to 2027 tax year, and any other income such as a job. It estimates the Income Tax and Class 4 National Insurance on the profit, and what that is each month.
An estimate, using gov.uk figures checked 23 October 2026. It works out the answer in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or saved. Guidance, not advice.
Good to know
- Other income is taken as pay or pension that already uses your Personal Allowance first.
- It leaves out student loans, savings interest, dividends and any tax already paid. Class 2 National Insurance is treated as paid when profits are £7,105 or more.
