Sole Trader Money App

Log what comes in and goes out in the Self Assessment categories, and see what to set aside for tax from every payment. It opens in your browser, adds to your Home Screen like an app and works offline, with no account, bank login or subscription.

£12.59 on EtsyUK price, VAT included. Instant download, nothing is posted.

What it does

  • A tax pot showing what to set aside from each payment for income tax and Class 4 National Insurance, with student loan and postgraduate loan options
  • Expenses in the Self Assessment categories, each marked allowable or not
  • Mileage at 45p a mile for the first 10,000 business miles, then 25p; motorcycle 24p, bicycle 20p
  • Invoices owed and paid: mark one paid and it joins your income on that day. It tracks invoices; it does not make or send them
  • Quarterly totals for Making Tax Digital and a CSV for your accountant; nothing is sent to anyone
  • 2026/27 rates you can edit, and a choice of ADHD-friendly or Standard mode

What you get

  • A Start here PDF: your private link to the full app, how to add it to your Home Screen, and how to bring your demo records across
  • A how-to guide PDF: every screen, step by step, with pictures
  • Lifetime updates, which arrive by themselves the next time you open it online
  • A personal licence for your own devices

Good to know

  • Try the free demo first: a made-up example business with up to 60 entries and 8 invoices. A backup from the demo carries over to the full version
  • Works on phones, tablets and computers in any up-to-date browser; nothing to download from an app store
  • Works offline once added to your Home Screen; no account, no bank connection, and your records stay on your device
  • Download a backup now and then. An estimate to help you set money aside, not tax advice
